(Contributors: Mr. Griffiths, Jesse Seeley)
Affectionately referred to as the “Freeze Fest,” Salem’s Festival of Lights parade will wind its way through downtown Salem THIS SATURDAY. While the parade starts at 6:30 p.m., there is obviously an earlier call time and tasks that will take precedent to that.

Rehearsal for Parade: Thursday and Friday, Dec.r 6 and 7, 2:45 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. at WSHS stadium. Dress warmly!

Parade Day: Saturday, Dec. 8. Call Time is 3:45 p.m. in uniform. The actual location for the call time will be discussed at rehearsal. IMPORTANT NOTE: Dress warmly and bring a substantial meal/snack.

Requests: At press time we are in need of two vehicles for equipment. Volunteers please contact Mr. Griffiths directly.

For more parade information, the official parade Web site includes parade route, entries, contact info, and parade hotline (not sure what that could possibly be). Their Web site can be found at www.folholidayparade.org/.
